The Pont Audemer Spaniel is a rare French water and field spaniel from the Pont-Audemer area of Normandy. It was used on ducks in marsh country. The UKC classes it as a Gun Dog.

Temperament

These spaniels are typically friendly, eager to hunt, and happiest in water. They need field or swimming work, not just a short walk.

They take well to retrieving work. Keep sessions upbeat and start water work early.
